Best HD DVD disc you've seen?

I went by a BB today at lunch and found 2 Toshiba HD-A1s. So naturally, I picked one up. They had a terrible set up at this particular BB. The demo unit was hooked to a 13" LCD monitor. The demo disc was playing, but there was NO output on the screen (it was black). It was all I could do to keep myself from ejecting the demo disc and sliding it in my box... Maybe, that's why they still had 2 sitting there on the shelf... I consider myself lucky.

Anyway, now that I've got a player, what is the best HD DVD transfer you've seen? From everything I've read it would be between Chronicles of Riddick, Training Day, Apollo 13 or maybe Doom. I'm talking about AV quality here not movie quality.

So, in your opinion, what is the current "reference" HD DVD?

EDIT: Page 8 of the manual:
Blu-ray Discs cannot be played on this player.

Phantom of the Opera had the most pop of any movie I have watched so far, but Goodfellas was actually pretty close. The scene where they are out burying the body and the only light is from the red tail lights looked amazing in HD.

Yea, Goodfellas is definitely one I want to buy... I'll probably rent PotA.

Something I had not read anywhere before. From the manual (page 38):

Using Extension Ports

Depending on the features of the disc you are using, you may be able to connect USB game controllers to the Extension ports to use some interactive features. Additional features may be supported in the future.

The best audio/video combo is Doom.

Training Day and Serenity are both solid as well. I haven't had a chance to view Bourne Supremacy yet.

Think you mean PotO. PotA would be Planet of the Apes.

Personally, I choose to use a more telling acronym for Phantom of the Opera: POO.

I actually liked the movie, but I have never seen the play so I don't know how bad they screwed up the movie version. Ignorance is bliss I guess.

Just got finished watching Unforgiven tonight and I'm changing my answer. That movie really benefited from the HD transfer and I think it may be my favorite disc so far. The sound isn't as active as other action type films, but the visuals are amazing.

I watched Bourne Supremacy tonight as well. That one looked good but maybe a touch grainy. However, during the action they had a super annoying habit of jerking the camera back and forth and if anything this film made me sea sick. I did try the in movie experience for a bit and the pop up box works fairly well and would be a fun way to go through the special features.

I just ordered Unforgiven yesterday from Amazon. It's arriving Tuesday. I can't wait to see the HD version. I watched about half of the Bourne Supremacy last night. I thought the video quality looked excellent. There was a hint of grain, but overall the colors were very alive.

The camera shaking is a Paul Greengrass thing. I believe he uses the same technique in United 93. It's kinda annoying.

United 93 never bothered me. I remember it slightly bothering me for Bourne.

I have to say that I LOVE the "instant access" extra. Amazing that they film enough for it to run the entire movie.
