"HD-DVD" or "HD DVD"
I've been spelling the term "HD-DVD" in my reviews, because simply that's what looks right to me. However, it seems that Toshiba and all of those in its camp are intent on spelling it "HD DVD", which frankly looks kind of stupid.
So, what do the readers think? Should we continue spelling it with a hyphen or without?

I think it looks ridiculous without the dash, but since that's what's "correct", that's how I've been spelling it in my reviews.

Actually, they used it with a hyphen until very recently, adding to the present confusion. Just look for documentation from 2004-2005.
But the editorial principle is that the acronym is determined by the company that owns it. Just as they decided that Surface-conduction Electron-emitter Display is SED, and not SCEED. Or Blu-ray Disc is BD, and not BR, or BRD.
Hence, it is without.

I will be writing HDDVD most of the time. No hyphen, no space. It's faster, and that's what really matters.
Doubt I'll change the world, write it however you like.
And yes, it is BD for "Blu-ray Disc".
