I think what it does show for the umpteenth time (something Sony cant get their collective heads around) is how important a factor price plays in a product.

Does this put a dent in Sony's plan to package the UMD and BR versions together for just a few dollars more? Maybe they could package the UMD, BR and Betamax versions together...
