Not for the weak. This is a compelling, disturbing, kinda oft-putting film that advances the art. Acting, visuals, setting, photography are all superb.

Going through my scary/horror blu-ray collection w my wife. She's not a big fan of the genre but some - like this one - she tolerates. Yes, this is an excellent well-made film. Even though I knew the twist, it held many good moments of emotion, drama and resolution.

I was enjoying my re-watch of this classic but my dear mate got tired/annoyed w Nicholson that she couldn't watch it anymore. "Too long" also she said. Plus she hates Jack. Anyway, we stopped just after Jack gets out or the storage locker and Scatman has just arrived. I'll watch the rest later.
