1. The chick from the opening scene of Jaws.
2. Casino Royale
3. Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad
4. Unless I miss my guess, you started this thread, pal.

Movies You've Once Seen And You Hope To God To Never See Again!!!
Best performance by a dog in an action film?
Worst performance in a great movie?
Movies with High Repeat Viewing
All-time great closing lines
Most TRAGIC Movie ?
Favourite 'Indie' Film
Favourite NICK NOLTE Movie ?
Name one (or two) actors you like that no one else seems to
Corniest sports movie ever?
Who are some actors that are naturally funny?

If you don't like them, just don't click on them. That is what I do when I get tired of them.

By the way, speaking of dumb threads, why don't you close this one? Talk about cluttering up the board, this isn't even about DVD's.

Well, that's the easy way out. We should still have some quality control over here. I'm not talking about closing "useless" threads immediately, but rather aboout members thinking twice before starting threads that seem stupid. The reason? You mentioned it yourself, cluttering up the board. There are so many threads being posted that important ones might easily "slip by" for those of us who sleep daily.

That is only part of the solution.

The REAL problem is when there are so many non-DVD related polls on the first page or 2, they kick DVD threads off the first couple of pages, causing people who want to read on-topic threads to search through 10 pages to find them. That is annoying to have to do.

joshhinkle and I have been lobbying for some time to have these polls moved elsewhere for some time in the Feedback forum. Please add your voice to the effort there.

Count me in as one of the "Poll Forum" faithful. And count me in as someone who dislikes "Other" snobbery.

You know, I really hate remarks like that. How obnoxious. Don't make it sound as if I'm agonizing over this every second. You don't know me. I submitted my opinion about something that I perceive is wrong with the DVD Talk forum. Isn't that why we have a "Feedback" forum?

Now if I had an average of 580 posts a month, then I'd REALLY have something in life to worry about.

Good refute. I hate it when people that have a million posts say get a life. I have my share of posts, but I've been here for two years, and I don't tell people to get a life.

Did someone really start a poll "Which actor has the cutest spleen"?

Ya right, it is getting pretty silly!
