Request: Hide spoilers in email notifications

I got an email notification for this post:
https://forum.dvdtalk.com/movie-talk...l#post13498235

And since the emails contain the posts in plain text, the spoiler was plainly visible between the spoiler tags.

Could the emails please delete anything between spoiler tags in a notification email? Like instead of:
Code:
I can't believe [ spoiler ]big, giant spoiler[ /spoiler ] happened!
The email text instead reads:
Code:
I can't believe [ spoiler ][ /spoiler ] happened!
Thanks.

Edit: Also, when I just used the code tags in this post and did a preview, the spoiler tags will still functional in the code area, so I had to add the spaces. Shouldn't all other tags be non-functional while encased in code tags?

Spoiler:
I don't know if that's possible

But I'll ask.

As for your other question, the code tag worked with the older version of the site, but likely doesn't work with the new one.

"Code" may not work as it did before, but I think "PHP" still does.
PHP Code:
[SPOILER]test [/SPOILER

Is the code tag part of HTML?

i don't think so, it uses brackets. It's a really old bbcode tag.
