The site looks nice and clean, but I sorta don’t care for how small the text is when replying now. I can still read it but it was easier before.

The white space at the top and sides are definitely weird. I don't even use any ad blocking and see a few ads followed by tons of white space. I'd rather have everything be centered somehow.

I have the same issue joeblow mentioned earlier with the invisible link to my user name on the top right as well, with just a picture showing.

Horrible. I especially love when an add pops while reading a thread and pushes everything up and off the screen then I have to go scroll and find where I once was. I guess this is the last gasp of DVDtalk.

3-column looks good for the main website, but I'd recommend the forum section go to a 2-column format. Menus are better, quicker navigation, etc I'm assuming somebody did a very much needed database dump.

Many reviews don't seem to show up. You get the menus and the top of the screen but the reviews themselves are blank. Maybe it's just me, but I've noticed this for the DePalma & DeNiro review and the old Waterworld review and several others listed under Latest/Newest Reviews...

Post a picture of that. That doesn't sound like what I am seeing at all. I think it looks a lot better on he mobile view than it did prior.

I don't mind it, but the biggest issue for me is on mobile. I liked the clickdown box that would take you to the individual subforums. I don't see that anymore, so it appears to be multiple steps to get to another subforum. :/

It does seem that many of our complaints are specific to the full site option. I was reading this thread on my phone, and it had defaulted to mobile view. I didn't see all the white space issues or ads showing up within threads, but then I switched to the full site view ...

Now everything does look a mess. Lots of awkward empty space on the right, a clunky looking top bar, and an ad that sprang up between posts. The mobile site is definitely improved, but now I don't quite like either view. I'm sure I'll get used to it.

The only thing bothering me is the big white bar on right hand side. If you can get that to go away, I'd be happy.

Honestly, the site looks like a mess and the reason is because the update made the forum more ad friendly instead of user friendly. I don't mind ads on the side, top and bottom of the screen but I do mind the ads between the posts. Made everything harder to read and follow. At the end of the day, I don't see how this "update" improves anything and brings more users to this site.

On mobile, it used to be a box. You click it to open and then can pick which subforum, with all of them listed. What you are showing is another way of doing it, but requires you to either know, or trial by error, where the subforum is you are looking for.

Some of the sections like Streaming Talk and Video Game Talk only go halfway across the screen.

You know the new interface is going to take a little getting used to. But, it's a free ad supported message board. Who am I to complain about something that isn't costing me a dime. I come here when I can and that's the extent of it.

I was going to start YA "What Is This?" thread, and then I saw this here.

On a 17" LCD monitor, 1280 x 1024 resolution, 3" of white space at the right and everything all scrunched over to the left SUCKS ASS. You're going to lose members you leave that shit like it is. Another site I used to frequent did that, but at least they gave you the option of closing that space once you're logged in. Just having it there without the ability to do anything about it is the worst possible thing you could've done for DVD Talk. WTF is 3" of white space? Just leave the ads at the top where they used to be, this just looks dumb as shit.
