Oh, so this is why the food forum happened. I don't visit the feedback forum for a week and everything changes! -eek-

No, no we do not. Additional forum differentiation on a forum with declining activity is a remarkably bad idea. We should be combining forums.

So long as threads stay remotely on-topic, it is not onerous at all to pick and choose the threads you have interest in an open just those. The days of 3+ pages of updated threads per day left us during the Clinton administration.

This is a remarkably weird decision at this point.

agreed on both accounts.

and it's really weird to have the "Up early/late smoking a pig" thread to not be in Other.

Now combine the HD & DVD Talk forums, pretty please. :flowers:

And possibly "DVD Bargains" and "Blu-ray Bargains" into "DVD, Blu-ray, & 4K / Ultra HD Blu-ray Bargains" or something like that.

Would it be OK for me to start a Cannibalism thread in the food sub forum?

One question. I see The Fast Food Thread and Hot Sauce Thread at the top of the other forum wouldn;t those threads be moved over to the Food Forum? That would be a good way to keep traffic going over to the Food Forum.

Re: Can we have a food sub-forum?

Will all food related threads in the other forum be moved over to the Food Sub-forum? I think that's needed in order to keep the web traffic going to that forum otherwise what's the point of having it.

Re: Can we have a food sub-forum?

Didn't realize Hot Sauces were so controversial! It moved straight to the Religion, Politics and World Events forum. ;)

Not meaning to make it a big deal about it Im just wondering when old food topics get bumped in the other forum will they be moved to the food subforum?

Meathead 04-24-25 09:39 AM

Re: Can we have a food sub-forum?

As the cola thread moved to the food forum wouldn't the beer thread also qualify?
