I'm not sure the "track.googlaappla" is always the same site. Might be an intermediary, I'll check it out.

I was referring to the visual ad that was on the screen when googlappla popped up.

And look at this hit when viewing this thread. 6 popups blocked. I hit and cleared those... Then 8 popups blocked.

Thank you. I often wonder if there is a correlation between the ad I see (or the little one at the bottom of the the threads) to the popups. For instance, are certain ads triggering certain popups.

Many times when I see the Boden ad, I get multiple hits. Not everytime. And there usually are more than 1 ad per thread.

Never sure if it is the bigger in thread ad or the tinier ad at the bottom of the thread.

But this time both were Boden......

And if there ever is a question of the date time of these, the date and time (military) are in the filename of the screenshots. I am in Eastern time in a state that is observing Daylight Saving Time. And here is another multiple which shows 2 Boden ads.

8 pop-ups blocked?! That's got to be a new record. Not a good one, to be sure, but yikes.

Question, that I think DVDTalkers might be able to help me with and might provide a link of some kind? Does anyone here use TV Tropes? Because I get a lot of mobile redirects and blocked pop-ups on that site. Like 2-3 per page, then Chrome blocks them on that page.

And it happened again.. and it kept blocking but stopped counting at 25... It must have been almost 40... And both times this Summer Dreams ad was on the screen...

Off topic but I have block pop ups on for Chrome on iOS and I never see those notifications about how many are blocked. And I can’t figure out why not. Any thoughts?

I am using Chrome on Android. I used the work around provided somewhere in this thread. The pop-up blocker notifications, etc were there after setting it up.

b2net, we shut off another ad network, so let's cross our fingers. Some MIGHT slip through, I've been told, but not nearly as bad as before.

mentioned this in the android form - I disabled chrome and installed Microsoft edge on my S8 plus - not only did it fix this issue (so far no issues at all) my browsing is much faster and smoother overall.

Its not just you guys. This week I get redirects whenever I fire up my mobile browser - which immediately reminds me to close Chrome, turn my ad-blocking VPN back on, and try again.

The bad news is that the site ends up getting zero ad revenue from me, because the VPN blocks +all+ ads (legit ones as well as redirects). This is hurting IB one tiny cut at a time.

I hate being forced to block ads, but if the choice is to do that or not to be able to even use the site at all....

Good luck getting this fixed.

Virus spam ads going crazy today on this site. Without blocking them, there would be no way to read the forum at all from my phone.
