NO ONE has seen this movie yet, yet other people are commenting on the Ghostbusters thread, apparently. Is this a rule for the forum in general or reserved for this one movie? Can I comment on the promotional materials at least?

Try deleting browser history. The post reply button is there.

I guess you're pulling my leg because it didn't work. *sigh* I guess this movie is just too special for any detractors to comment on it at all.

Something may be up with your browser Pat. Try the website in different browsers. There's nothing that we at DT did to take away your reply button.

No, it's clearly a conspiracy against PatD. We can all see what you're doing!!

Try turning off your ad blocker.

But, I can post on any other thread on this forum--even the Movie Forum, why?

vBulletin doesn't have the ability to prevent a single user from posting in a single thread. I don't know what's going on, but you're not being targeted by the mods/admins here. If you're running an ad blocker, have you tried turning it off? Have you tried logging in using a different web browser?

I tried to post on Safari (rather than my usual Firefox). No dice.

I don't see why I can post on any thread on this site except that one.

It could be something posted in that thread that an ad-blocker is picking up and messing with. There are are several hotlinks in the various posts.

What happens if you go to this page directly?

Could the issue be scrolling further to the right for the "Submit Reply" and "Preview Post" buttons?

Re: The Ghostbusters reboot thread

Yeah, the formatting on that link Adam provided is messed up because of the absurdly large image in one of the posts.

I hid whotony's gigantic 3024x4032 toy photo behind a spoiler tag. Is it better for you now?

Re: The Ghostbusters reboot thread

3024x4032? That's 12,192,768 pixels-worth of censoring free speech!!

We shall all wait with baited breath until PatD confirms that his freedom to post in the great Ghostbusters thread of 2016 has been restored.

But yeah, the reply page looks a hell of a lot better for me, too. The buttons are now dead center instead of way off to the far right.

PatD, your agent was supposed to let you know. Since the cat is out of the bag though ... You are being recast. Melissa McCarthy will be playing you from now on. She has your "Post Reply" button.
