Flash Player Upgrade? Virus/Malware?

Every time I click on a new page, I'm getting a warning that my flash player is out of date and I need to upgrade to continue. I'm getting the same warning on 2 different browsers.

I don't see why this forum would care what version of flash I'm running, plus it's trying to redirect me to some random IP (192.155.192.104) to download flash player, which makes me think there's something not right here.

Anyone else having the same issue?

Sounds like it was due to breach in Pagefair analytics software:

http://blog.pagefair.com/2015/hallow...curity-breach/

Affected many sites over the weekend but company says it has since been resolved.

It was happening to me on one of my machines too, and I was getting a redirect even after pressing escape on the dialog. I got scared scanned for malware and found nothing. Anyway it looks like HN provided the answer as to what was going on

This happened to me on my iPad, and I think my laptop...really good to know that malware was not installed on my machines.

Re: Flash Player Upgrade? Virus/Malware?

Something similar has been happening to me the last few days. Getting warnings to upgrade this or that or getting a full page ad for a bogus product instead of the page I was navigating to. I immediately suspected malware and I was getting increasingly pissed off that I could not seem to clean my computer. Well, turns out my computer IS clean. Malwarebites premium points to your website (among others) as the issue. Specifically, It fingers malicious advertisements as the likely problem. Just letting you know.
