I set up a signature and when I post I check "Show your signature" but nothing seems to be showing.

now, if it turns out to be some sort of spam, i say revert the post count and never allow it to reach 100, like Sisyphus and his boulder.

100 posts is the number. Some folks here are going to have a lot of fun with the sig if you get to 100 posts.
