literally 90% of the threads were locked for me. it seems to be fine now tho. weird.

Seems like in the past year, maybe more, we've been targeted pretty quickly. Sometimes hard even. Ironically... Supermallet was a mod before all that and we didn't get spammed too often. Hrmmmmm.

While mods and admins all play a part in the anti-spam effort (ably assisted by member-reports during our "down time") the major part of the work is undertaken by the admins and can be quite onerous. Whenever there is a change in the team some of the experience has to be re-built. And the software tools can change, too, which can have a knock-on effect.

A lot of posts get locked when trying to bring fun to a dead forum. Sad but true. :(
