Open Contacts Popup?

When I came to the site this morning, something looked a little off. The tabs on the User CP line are different. There's one called "Open Contacts Popup" that I've never seen before, which appears to do nothing at the moment. It also looks like there's 2 search tabs -- one that's a google search and the other a regular forum search.

I'm assuming there's some behind-the-scenes tinkering going on, but it has really thrown my morning for a loop. I may need a nap to clear my head.

What's the Open Contacts Popup link supposed to do? Any other surprises coming our way?

I'm not seeing that in my User CP. Do you have a screenshot of it that you can post?

It's not in the User CP, but on the same row of tabs:

User CP FAQ Price Search Search Search New Posts Mark Forums Read Open Contacts Popup Log Out

If that doesn't make sense, I can work on a screenshot.

Have you recently downgraded your browser to IE11?

I got the same immediately after I did that silly thing.

"Downgraded"...well said.

Yeah, I'm using Firefox and not seeing that link. We've contacted IB about it.

I'll have to confirm later, but that must be it.

The PC I was using when I noticed that change had a pop up earlier in the day about automatic updates and I think IE11 was one of them.

Re: Open Contacts Popup?

Try using IE in Compatibility Mode if you're in IE 10 or 11.

Did that and now I have the familiar look.

The extra tabs weren't a huge deal. Just wasn't sure where they came from and what their function was.
