Mutiple answer polls: Can the OP only vote once?

Question,

When an Poll is created that allows multiple picks, is the OP only allowed to vote once with 1 pick?

I've created a few multiple answer polls in the past and I have never been allowed to vote for more than 1 answer, even others seem to have no problem doing so.

Does anyone else have this issue? Is it a programming issue?

Prime example, I just created a poll for What Sunday Night shows will you give priority viewing to? I allowed multiple picks for people to choose multiple shows. However, I was only allowed to choose 1 show in my own poll.

That's weird, I can't vote anymore in my own poll

Here's what is says:

Multiple Choice Poll. Voters: 6. You have already voted on this poll

It shows that you voted for Homeland. I think everyone is just allowed to vote one time, although you can select multiple options at that time. If you've already clicked the "Vote now" button you can't go back and select other options.

Yes, that's true. You can only vote once in multiple choice polls, although at that time you should be able to select multiple options.

When I've started polls I recall there being an option to allow the selection of more than one answer. But I'd expect you to have to make the selections at the same time and not be able to return to the poll to augment the first answer. What are other folk finding?

Oh I think I get it. If the poll allows multiple picks, you can do it in 1 pass. But, once you hit vote now, you're locked in.

Thx guys

That's correct. You get one shot to hit the vote button. Once you do that it's part of forum lore at that point.
