so, for some reason embedded YouTube vids show up as all black, and clicking on it does nothing, yet it appears embedding from other websites seems to be working fine.

anyone know what's wrong? using IE10 on Windows 7.

I'm seeing the embed in both Firefox and IE. Maybe a plug in crashed for you?

I've been getting black vids from Youtube and Hulu lately. It's really sporadic. I don't think it has anything to do with DVDTalk.

If you're having trouble posting them, post one in this thread & we'll see if it's broken. Obviously the one posted above works fine

It does sound like a browser issue for you; an issue with YT encoding has happened occasionally.

Are you using Chrome? I seem to have issues all the time with it.

I had similar issues two weeks ago and I updated adobe flash and all worked fine.

nope. all black for me. the arrow, when moved into the black rectangle becomes a finger if that helps anyone, I've uninstalled and reinstalled both Adobe Flash and Java... still nothing.

The video displays fine and works for me.

It does not work even if you try another browser?

How about uninstall and reinstall Adobe Flash?
