I'm having trouble loading nearly every forum on the site, continually being redirected back to the forum homepage. Dropping in random junk in the URL to break the cache (ex: http://forum.dvdtalk.com/blu-ray-bar...rgergergergerg instead of http://forum.dvdtalk.com/blu-ray-bargains-74/ ) still redirected. If I used the Forum Jump dropdown, I'd get a 500 server error. Using the date filter on the forums I already had open would be hit-or-miss.

None of this is persistent, though, so I don't know what to say. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It's clearly beyond clearing my cache or resetting cookies, though.

Something really weird is going on. Certain threads won't work and lead me back to the main page. I can't even click on the last page of this thread.

Re: Forum Database Errors

Same for me.

Re: Forum Database Errors

I'm seeing the same thing.

Same error in chrome, also seeing the force back to main forum page. Very frequent.

I deleted the cookies and it allowed me back into the forums.

Strange.

Thanks for the reports, guys, we're on this.

Can you tell me if it's still happening or cleared up, and please report:

1. Your browser type/version if you have not already
2. Is it happening when you log out

Re: Forum Database Errors

I just switched to Chrome and now I can read this thread. Internet Explorer 10 wasn't working at all.

Re: Forum Database Errors

I've been only able to get into this thread. As others have said, clicking forum links seems to just take me back to the main Forum page.

Using Firefox

Haven't tried it on IE.

I'm glad to know this is an actual software issue that others are experiencing.

Shit was getting weird over here for second...

Re: Forum Database Errors

It's intermittent but frequent.

I'm using Chrome v27.0.1453.94 m

Re: Forum Database Errors

Seems like it's a problem with the forum links, just keeps fowarding you back to the main forum page.

Happening in Firefox 22, logged in and in private browsing mode with no cookies.

EDIT: Seems to be a javascript problem. I saw it trying to load a blank "javascript http://". Disabled javascript and logged back in and pages load fine, but obviously with javascript off, can't click spoiler tags or get drop down menu to work.

Strange.

Removed cookies and still can't get in. Can click on the one thread that shows to the right, though.

Firefox 21.0

I couldn't get on for about 15 minutes. http://i1109.photobucket.com/albums/...e/bb4577a1.gif

I could only access the Forum Home page and nothing else. Clicking on independent links took me back to the Forum Home page. I'm using Safari.

Seems fine now.

Cleared everything in browser and logged back with javascript back on. Working now.

Re: Forum Database Errors

Still problematic on Internet Explorer 10. Once I click on the TV forum, it always sends me back to the main forum page.

I'm using Chrome right now and it appears to be working okay.

Still not working for me. How the hell am I suppose to let everyone know how wrong they are???

Re: Forum Database Errors

I can only get into threads showing as most recently updated by clicking the arrows on the main page, all else just refreshes the page. Using Firefox 21.

Tech is reporting as resolved; I'm no longer seeing it; is anyone who cleared cache still seeing this behavior?

Still having problems on iOS with Safari. Clicking some subforums (TV) it redIrects to main forum listing. I can click on thread preview, but going up on directory still boots me out.

I tried clearing history and chache. Everything works fine on my Kindle.

Cleared my cookies and I still can't get into some of the forums such as movie talk and sports talk...it keeps taking me back to the main forum page.

Please CLEAR YOUR CACHE and report if you are still having this issue.

If you are, PLEASE REPORT YOUR BROWSER TYPE AND VERSION.

Thanks all!

ie 10, never had a problem up until a week or so ago.

some threads work fine (like TV Talk) yet Movie Talk and many of the others do not. clicking it brings me back to the main forum page.

It was doing that to me on and off for a couple days, multiple platforms. Seems to be fine now. I didn't delete any cookies or do anything to try to fix it.

Tech has been unable to reproduce this. I'm not sure what else to tell you to try. Sounds like a local issue as you're the only one reporting it now.

Not database errors, per se, but the site is generally unconnectable today, for the past half hour at least. Lots of HTTP connections either slow, or simply dropped.
