Please delete intentional spoiler in this week's GOT thread

Spoiler:
I'm looking forward to the Dead of King Robert by an Boar and the beheading of Eddard Stark by Ilyn Payne on behalf of Boy King Joffrey. I wonder how they will do this. Another scene I'm looking forward to is the scene where the Imp Tyrion kills his father on the toilet.

Grow up.

Nobody read the post above mine, if you haven't read the books.

Please delete intentional spoiler in this week's GOT thread

Some prick decided to spoil the major events of the rest of the season on purpose in this week's game of Thrones thread "Game of Thrones -- "Lord Snow" -- 5/01/11". I think it is post 28. Please delete before too many have the show spoiled from them that haven't read the books.

And honestly that is banworthy.

Re: Please delete intentional spoiler in this week's GOT thread

is the best method to attract the attention of a mod in a particular forum regarding a particular post.

If, instead, you wished to attract the attention of an admin for use of the word "pr*ck" you have succeeded.

HINT: you can report a troublesome member without indicating that you, too, are unable to follow the rules.

I note that Jadzia has attended to the problematic post.

I have a sense our Cool New Member may already have another ID. If so, both should be banned.

Alternately, it's possible he's just someone who spends his time searching the internet for discussions of the show so he can spoil them.

Wow, and I was feeling a little bit bad for what I called that guy in my post in the feedback forum asking for that spoiler to be removed and getting my hand slapped in the process. Yes, I actually had to come out of lurker mode of 8 years to get that spoiler removed so he wouldn't spoil the whole season for folks that hadn't read the books. I stand by my original assessment.

Glad I was out of this thread for the good times. No reason at all why that post is still there, spoilered or not. (Haven't read it, obviously).

Courtesy of some smart footwork by mods and admins other than myself, the guy is now toast. Kudos to them and thanks to all for their patience while this was being attended to.

For the avoidance of doubt, my earlier mild admonition to the OP of the Feedback thread - to which the offtopic elements from the original TV Talk thread have now been merged - was simply to avoid anyone other than the offensive poster being caught in the flak. Unfortunately, I have seen this happen several times in the past and it seemed to me that a timely reminder is always better than having other people ending up suspended as a result of posting in anger.
