Browser type/version? Have you cleared your cache/cookies?

Over the last couple of days I've had intermittent instances of pages loading VERY slowly while waiting on/transferring from ad.doubleclick.net and optimize.indieclick.com. The load time ranges from a few seconds to over a minute. Anyone else seeing this?

It's been good for me lately except for today when it's hung a few times loading.

Generally, it hangs while loading the ads at the top of the page. I hit Reload, and sometimes it loads right up. I've assumed that some of the ads are the culprit.

I waited a while, but it's been pretty smooth sailing for me for a week or so now. Whatever y'all did definitely seems to have helped

Ditto here. I still get the occasional timeout, but that doesn't happen often enough to bother me. Vastly improved!

I don't recall seeing an official post about it, but I think the site was down for a bit this morning (between 8 am - 10 am).

Forum was down again this morning. I tried to get here about 8:20am EST, it was down for (as near as I can tell) at least 45 minutes. Couldn't get here at all, it was as if the DVD Talk forum didn't exist. -kd5-

Is dvdtalk's domain name really registered with godaddy?

I was having the old issues again yesterday afternoon and last night. Not as bad as before but it seems to be slowly increasing in that direction.

Forums were terrible loading the past couple days (today seems to be okay so far). I'm using Google Chrome and could barely get pages to load without multiple tries. Every other site was working fine though.

Are these ad servers killing anyone else lately? This morning and yesterday I could not access any forum pages. Or rather, I could access the page header but the rest of the page would get stuck loading from the ad servers. The activity bar on the bottom of my browser just kept switching between 'indie ads' and 'doubleclick', and it takes the actual forum page about 10 minutes to load. Not sure what is going on... seems to be working now.

Yep, this is exactly what I was seeing when I posted earlier in this thread and I still see it happening.

Checked that thread right after I posted, but it wouldn't load.
