In brief, it says that because.... you may not post attachments.

Did you mean to ask a different question?

Don't be ridiculous -- I'm far too important to start my own threads. Maybe I'll have my cupboy do it.

Re: You may not post attachments

Shouldn't it technically be "You can not post attachments"? You know, because it's actually impossible to do so, not just that we don't have permission.

Why would it be impossible? It's a feature in vBulletin.

Technically, I agree, but it'd be cannot. Although telling us that we are able to not-post attachments would also be true.

Being able to upload photos would be cool.

Just because there's gold in Fort Knox doesn't mean it's possible for me to walk in and make a successful withdrawal.

That was a feature for premium members, but I never used it. I just throw everything up on imageshack. One right click and I'm done.

Maybe it's a hosting capacity issue

It's not the easiest thing to use, and it has some limitations, but it's there:

Re: You may not post attachments

I meant more like AVSForum where you can just include an attachment with any post. Plus they let their threads go like 8700 pages.

I think I can PM attachments, but they have to be <1K (or something equally obnoxious.
