If Geoff were still in control, I am sure the premium forum would be worth it and there would be most likely more things in terms of premium stuff.

I haven't noticed any change, other the more features on the forum then before.

I did not renew however I do not think the site has gone downhill since the change over.

Re: The "I let my premium membership lapse" thread...
I'm frankly surprised to see anyone renewing their membership.

I renewed.
Won 2 dvds and a Fight Club blu so renewing seemed like a good idea. |

Back in the Geoff days, I'd have spent $10 to support the site. I don't feel the same loyalty to Internet Brands. |
Re: The "I let my premium membership lapse" thread...
I've won enough in the DVD Contests to call the premium membership a wash for several years (2 of the 3 sets I won were ones I was going to purchase). Works for me. Hoping to see some more Blu-rays in future contests.

Like I said, I ignorantly thought it was a lifetime premium membership and that is why I signed up.

Must be nice...

Re: The "I let my premium membership lapse" thread...
I'd like to start a sub-thread titled:
"What the fuck is this $10 charge in my bank account?!? Oh, yeah...that thing from last year." |

Re: The "I let my premium membership lapse" thread...
I re-upped.
For as much as I visit/use this site, $10 is a no-brainer. The contests are a nice plus, but I don't enter them regularly, and the avatars don't really factor into my decision. I feel the same way about shareware. If it's something "free" that I end up using a lot, I pay for it. Seems fair. |

I paid to support the site mainly, but the minor perks like the panic button are nice. Also, it seems like most people who entered them won at least one contest, so that makes them worthwhile right there. |

Re: The "I let my premium membership lapse" thread...
I would have renewed but for some reason my automatic Paypal payment was canceled, and when I tried to subscribe on this website, it's asking for $20.
Can anybody help me out with a code for $10, or did that expire already? |
Re: The "I let my premium membership lapse" thread...
There are contests? SONOVABITCH!
Cheapest rent out there for as often as I park my ass here. Seriously, there are contests? |
