I am using the latest incarnation of Firefox and I am logged in to DVD talk. When I click on the "mark this forum read" thing it immediately marks everything as having been read, but then I close Firefox and open it right back up and go to DVD talk and look in the same forum and it is not marked as read! I recently had to do a new install of Windows XP-SP3 and of course a new install of Firefox - did I forget to check some box in the Firefox options??


I just tried it with IE 8 and same thing happens - maybe it's a temporary bug with DVDtalk itself?!?!

Are you still logged in when you come back and see that threads are unread?
