invasive ads (anti-virus scan message)
I wish I could provide more info as I know these can be hard to track down,
But browsing the forum, I received a pop-up alert about scanning my drive for viruses. You close that alert and it immediately redirects to a page that imitates your harddrive folders and makes you think it is scanning.
I have seen these invade ad networks before... nothing you did wrong, but you need to track it down asap as it will likely effect a lot of users and some may be fooled and place spyware on their system.

You know... I dont' even see any ads as I try to duplicate this. Maybe I had another window open for another site. I'll let you know if it happens again and we'll see if anyone else experiences it. Probably not worth looking into just yet.

I had the same thing happen to me twice last week. I would have never guessed it was from DVDTalk if I hadn't seen this thread. I ran three different virus scans and a spyware scan. They all found nothing.
