Is there still a premium membership?

Not sure what the plan is on selling these things. I can't even find where to upgrade. I wouldn't even know about it if it weren't for the hubbub around the 1st of the year. Any help?

Is there a list of benefits and price somewhere?

Re: Is there still a premium membership?

Okay, I clicked a hat and saw the features. The paypal cart is broken, however... server error.

List of features:

List of Premium Contests (past and present):

There was a $10 coupon released, not sure if it's still valid though...

Re: Is there still a premium membership?

PayPal may have been temporarily down. I just tried and it took me to the PayPal payment page after a few seconds.

Re: Is there still a premium membership?

Yeah, it's working now. Thanks!

The premium membership should be easier to locate.

Re: Is there still a premium membership?

paypal had about a 4 hour outage yesterday, which probably accounted for the issue of it not working.

The only reason to get one is the avatar. And you get access to the yawn-tastic premium members forum!

Welcome, Thor! There are several unspoken premium rules. I'm sure you'll learn those as you go along.

Re: Is there still a premium membership?

So access to one's full posting history-- the feature I want most (though the avatar would be a nice touch)-- still has not been implemented?

Re: Is there still a premium membership?

you can see all your posts, just click on your name and then click on the "Find More Posts by X". Of course, if the posts have been expunged from the system, then those are gone...

It only goes back 500 posts, unless that's been changed for Premium members.

Re: Is there still a premium membership?

LOL yeah, finding out about the Premium Membership takes a bit of searching. I check it out every six months or so, hoping for another coupon. $20 is just a bit too much since all I want is the avatar.

Re: Is there still a premium membership?

Haha, well I already made back all of my money and then a lot more on the contests I've won. The less premium members the more chance to win prizes.

Re: Is there still a premium membership?

What about the rumored adult (mature) forum and the special DVD bargain forums only available to premium members? Must have all been made up.

Re: Is there still a premium membership?

well, there isn't an XXX sub-forum within the Premium, but there is an XXX thread. Also, there isn't a special DVD bargain forum, but there is a Premium members only Deals thread.

I thought it was lame to begin with. I also thought that they were supposed to add more features as time went on. Am I imagining that, or are they just dragging their feet?

Hmm. Should I finally pay for porn or not?

Re: Is there still a premium membership?

it's a perk of the premium membership, but no, you're not paying for porn.
