How bout a [spoiler] button in the message options?

you know so you can just highlight text that needs to be spoilerized and hitting the button above (with the bold, italics, link, image, etc.) automatically adds the [spoiler.] [/spoiler] so we don't have to type it in all the time?

seems like it would be a nice little option to have...

Now that's the kind of creative thinking we need around here!

Might as well throw a YouTube one on there while you're at it.

While we're at it, why don't we implement this?

I would settle for just properly working "go to the first unread" button.

How can there be a stage when I don't even think there's a process. I haven't seen one mod/admin chime in on this "process" of yours yet.

I don't know how vbulletin works, but they have the function here on a vbulletin forum:

If this ever happens, I think the icon for it should be a smilie with a ball gag in its mouth.

Re: How bout a [spoiler] button in the message options?

Here's the thing.... We try to keep our forums as close to stock as possible so they're as close to the upgrade path as possible. This means that we're somewhat limited to the stock vB configuration, which includes the vB wysiwyg editor. I don't believe that there is any planned development in integrating custom bb code into the current editor, at least not from the vB team.

I'll look into what it'll take to do this, but I'm fairly confident that it's something that's way more difficult than what it's worth.

Re: How bout a [spoiler] button in the message options?

Any update?

Also, hidden spoiler text currently goes out on all the email notifications with no indication that it is a spoiler. Can that code be changed to include the word 'spoiler' or something?

Not trying to be an asshole or anything, but I couldn't help but notice the spoiler button isn't in the quick reply box. . .

Yeah, that would be pretty nice to have.
