Adding more poll options
I was wondering if we could look into have more poll options. Maybe 20 poll options instead of 10 or 15 instead of 10. It would give the OP and the members who participate in the polls more options.
For example: If there is quite a few releases on Tuesday and you can only have 8 titles ("Other" and "Not a thing" take up two options) in the poll; members wonder why some releases a lot of people are looking forward to isn't in the poll and I would wonder the same thing myself.
It would be great if we could have more poll options.

So, is there a way to get a poll with more than 10 options?
Well, the system says that 10 options is the limit for poll...is there any way that this can be increased?

Re: Adding more poll options
I've never set up a poll and can't verify if this will work for everyone, but X just set up a poll for premium members that has 20+ choices. Either the thoughts here have been heard, or it's a sign of special mod powers at work.

Re: Adding more poll options
Doh! Otters made my joke even better by having a what's your favorite letter poll.
Actually, and I'm sort of serious, maybe 26 would be better than 25.
For contest polls like all the current ones, an even number of choices is better. Plus, the whole A-Z thing sounds better.

25 isn't enough?
Without wanting to snipe, this is one of the problems encountered in dealing with member requests. The OP asked for 20 options and no-one said otherwise over the course of six weeks.
To be on the safe side IB-Dick made it 25 but, within a very short period of time, there is the - admittedly only semi-serious - comment to the effect that 26 might be better.
Although it may well be that IB-Dick could meet this request, who is to say that a day later someone would call for "just one more"? Or ten more? Or twenty?
It is just a thought but maybe poll setters - both actual and theoretical ones - need to consider quality of options every bit as much as the quantity.
And, as always, one can always offer potential voters a "write-in" vote.
Perhaps anyone who has been thwarted by an inadequate number of options could post here with precise details with a view to indicating how much of an issue this is?
