Newsletter Unsubscribe

I'm sure it's easy, but how do I unsubscribe from the X-Critic newsletter?

Re: Newsletter Unsubscribe

Wouldn't this to be a better question to ask over at X-Critic?

Re: Newsletter Unsubscribe

I believe that anybody who signed up for the DVDTalk newsletter AND posted in the Adult Forum while it was here got on the Xcritic newsletter.

Wally is right, you'll pretty much have to ask someone over at xcritic. The two sites are no longer connected.

There is a link at the bottom of the email newsletter that looks like this:

Click here to safely unsubscribe now from "XCritic News" or change subscription settings

Then I'll ask you...why was G! [snicker] allowed to import all registered users from his mildly titillating adult forum here, to his ultra-hard-on porno site there?

Nope, you had to have either opted into it or signed up for an adult giveaway at some point and selected the newsletter.

Users who posted in the Adult Talk forum had their access duplicated there so they could seamlessly access it. If you chose not to, nothing more happened with that info.

Frankly the forum is a minuscule part of that site. The key focus is really reviews and blogs. But we kept the forum there for people who do want to talk about adult topics and interact with starlets.

There was a redirect link in the DVD Talk forum for a while to the XC forum as "Adult Talk" but IB chose to remove it. I think enough people know we're out there and visit if it interests them.

The site really isn't all that much different than when adult was part of DVD Talk, I snicker when I see some of the feedback as if somehow it was reborn into something completely different... If anything I took all the long term problems that plagued me running this DVD site and solved them with that one. And honestly having less snarky and mean spirited people in the forum there was part of that solution
