Pre-signatures are the new black. Go Eagles!
It helps that I now think of them as pre-signatures. Twice the room to spiff up each of my posts!

The small text is a small improvement, but it's still annoying.

Would the align right or changing to a non-black color make it worse for SEO purposes on Google?

Hmm, actually I think bolded looks better to me. Regular text blends in too much to regular posts, despite the line. Bold is easier for me to skip past.

I wouldn't mind if it was part of the blue line, along with date time and post#, but the current position does make the post box a little busy.

That's because it's a separate style. Once we get a ruling on this, I'll change that one too.
That's productive. Thanks!

I think the consensus among the peanut gallery seems to be putting it in the blue bar would work best.

Non-bold made it a bit smaller, which is a step in the right direction.
Can you try it blinking every couple seconds, so it's only there half the time? Or maybe a random color each time since people have different tastes in colors and it would make more people happy?

The Bus,
I think IB-Dick is right that more text in the blue bar would intrude on white-space feelings. I did a comp real quick and it sucked.

So I was reading a thread today, when I was like "whoa, what the hell is this thread about?", and I, like, totally forgot. I know you have the thread title in the browser title and at the top of each response, but I was wondering if perhaps you could have it at the bottom of each, in all the ads, and perhaps in the quick reply textbox.
This way I'll never be confused.

We've survived this long without getting lost in threads, most of us anyway. They really serve no purpose to a thread other than clutter.
Giving the user the option to turn them off would be great.
