Maybe a central location to report issues would be helpful...



The go to last post button doesn't go to the last post. :(

I've heard that the last post feature takes you to the 1st post instead.

Posted this in the Other thread before I knew about this one:

Searching seems to suck even more now. Today I'm going to compile a list of upcoming DVDs that I want (Iron Man, The Big Lebowski, The Incredible Hulk, "30 Rock", "The Office") and their release dates, so I searched for their respecitve existing threads.

5 different searches in the main forum - "iron", "lebowski", "hulk", "office", "rock" - each at least the standard 20 seconds apart. Got the same reslut every time: "1. Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms."

Weird.

Just like "Last Post", "Last Page" also takes you to the first page.

And I witnessed this in one thread, but another one was fine with this feature. Strange. :hscratch:

If you click on the title of the thread on the Main page, it takes you to the last post. If you do it on the subforum page, it takes you to the first post. I think that is different.

I'm getting red x's for the mod/reviewer avatars.

Yep, the search function is completely useless now. Every search I've done has come up with the same result you got.

When in a particular forum, the links on the menu bars do not work. Both the main bar at the top and the one below with the search this forum. Click.. nothing.

I was just in the actors attack their mother thread and found this post interesting.

Avatars seem to have disappeared.

I'm seeing a clickable line saying "nemein's avatar" - takes ya to the profile. This is with Firefox.

I didn't notice it until Groucho posted, but posts from people on my ignore list are in a wider box than a normal post.

Wow... the forum VB was upgraded to the current version... whodathunk? ;)

Is anybody else getting adds in first posts of a thread?

The political forum content still sucks.

I can't click on any of the buttons that can wrap text around it for Bold, Italic, Underline, etc. I can't even get the smilies to come up. I have to do everything manually. I know most of them, but I can't remember a lot of the smilie codes.

What did the new forum upgrade do anyway?

The old one was very outdated and hacked to pieces, this makes us more..modern and updated. There's also some new features, which may not be turned on right now, but once everything is sorted out, things may appear. Also once everything is sorted out, things should run smoother, and search may actually work (better!). Just because you don't see anything different, doesn't mean it doesn't work better :)

This also gives is the ability to add more modern and neat vBulletin add-ons.

Yeah it wasn't a good idea the first time, so I guess they wanted to try it again.

I'm getting a bunch of smilies in The Edit King posts

Guys, there maybe some things that are showing up that aren't suppose to be there. Give IB time to configure stuff the way it was.

Kudos though for the upgrade. I'm telling you I stopped upgrading because almost everything we saw pointed to it being almost impossible. So the IB tech team must have really done some magic.

Now hopefully they will turn on all the features!
