Can we get "Stars" as a new smilie?
Based on this and this thread, the "Movie Talk Community" would like to add a star rating system as poll options. My understanding is that "img" tags don't work in poll choices, but smilies ( ) do.
So, can we add these as smilies?

Someone mentioned adding a "poll" template but I'm pretty sure that would be much more difficult.

And adding the stars as smilies is for more than just that matter, they could come in handy for other uses as well.

These would have other uses, too.

Added a poll. Since I don't care either way, I'll let those who want the stars decide. Create a thread in Movie Talk or wherever applicable to get people to vote. It'll end in a week or sooner if it looks like one way seems to be the majority.

We already have that poll going on in movie talk.
The issue addressed in this thread was related, but entirely separate.
We simply asked for the stars to be added as smilies, so that we could put them in polls if needed.

While you may want that level of differentiation in a massive review database or some such application, for a simple poll to give the general DVDtalk user feeling on a movie, 11 options is silly. 5 should be enough, 7 at the most. 1 middle rating, and either 2 or 3 qualifiers in either direction from the middle.
