There are several people listed as mods who haven't posted in months, one of whom has only posted three times in the last year. Are they on hiatus? Are they gone forever? Are they still acting as mods, even if they don't participate otherwise?

If someone doesn't come around here anymore, should he be removed from moderator status? Should he be replaced with someone who regularly logs on?

I think Jules Winfield and p1forest should be made mods.

Hey, I take a long weekend and this is the thanks I get? I still post here buddy.

I think what has generally happened in the past is if a forum had 3 mods and truly needs 3 mods and then 2 of them go on an extended hiatus, 2 more will be hired for the job, so you'll see 5 mods listed even though only 3 work on a regular basis. Obviously this can get a little crazy if you have 20 mods listed and only 3 are currently posting/reviewing threads. I don't know if it has gotten out of hand as yet, but perhaps down the road we will have to look at certain forums where there are a bunch of mods listed.

Don't forget about the mod that hasn't signed in since 5/5/06.

I think Bando would be a good mod in the Tort Reforum sub-forum.

People are complaining about the mods not posting? Those idiots?

Clearly the mods have not been the actual mods for a long time. IB has taken over their accounts and they just aren't as motivated to post as our esteemed "real" mods that we enjoyed for so long. I just wish I knew where the real mods were being held so I could send flowers.
