I thought it was getting long and wanted to continue the great discussions fresh. Thanks in advance.

This thread hardly seems like a candidate for such a request.

It used to be that really long threads in "Movie Talk' were closed when they got to a certain length. I always find it taxing to wade through 50 pages of stuff on a film from pre-casting rumors all the way to release reviews (i.e. the current "Batman" sequel thread runs a friggin' 61 pages!!!!). Is there any "policy" on this kind of stuff anymore? I liked it when we had part two, part three for really long thread discussions myself... just two cents.

In another place, a few months ago Geoff mentioned 800 posts as being a reasonable cut off point.

PS) I think Numanoid's post was a joke about the thread that we are all now posting in, as opposed to the one to which the OP linked.
