Yes, but, see... I'm not a little kid. I'm an adult. If I was a little kid, I might say something like "WAAAAAA! PILOT SAID SIX MONTHS AGO THAT HE'D ADD IN THESE SMILIES AND HE HASN'T DONE IT! WAAAAAA!"

But since I'm not a little kid... I'll just point out that the whole "it'll happen when it happens" tactic hasn't exactly been a rousing success up to this point.

The admins have made numerous attempts to get the smilies working, but there appears to be a bug in the forum software that will not allow the new smilies to stick. Given the other projects that they are working on at this time, this has now become a low priority issue. It's not that they don't want to add the smilies, there have simply been technical issues that have not let them add the smilies when they tried. Sorry guys, that's not what you wanted to hear, but that's the way it is.

In the mean time, here's a site that has a ton of cool smilies: http://faccine.forumfree.net/index.html Don't rely on the site to host, it will show up at first then turn into a red x like 30 seconds later.

Also, www.tinypic.com will host them for you. I know it's a bit more work but sometimes when you have that perfect smilie for the occassion, it's just worth it.
