Was a change made to the adult forum? It redirects me to http://www.xcritic.com/forum/index.php.

Yes Geoff launched the new site yesterday. It's a really nice looking site and it can be trusted just like you trust dvdtalk. It's still in the early stages, but there is already some activity there and all the old threads are there as well as your username is already active there.

One complaint....when the system was down, it told me to visit this "other site" and it would have been super keen if it warned me that it was an adult site.

It took me 3 hours to finally leave.

Just kidding, but a warning would be nice.

All kidding aside, the fact that it was the adult forum probably should have sufficed as warning. On another note, there is a porn performer asking for input on her upcoming movies (even allowing folks on her set to visit), some new contests, and a lot more pictures featuring nudity.

would be nice if the new adult forum had quick links to return to the dvtalk forum.. i would use it more, if i could seamlessly return to this forum.. even if it was just a small static link at the top or bottom

I must have missed that. All I saw was something like, "We're down, in the meantime, check out this new forum...." I didn't see anything in the name that made it obvious that it was an adult site, but I didn't really look hard. I just clicked. Maybe something just as simple as a "You must 18 years or older, or believe that we can't find out your age to continue" or something.

That's exactly what I saw. I was at work at the time, thankfully didn't click the link.

kvrdave might be referring to the redirect when you click "adult forum" and not the message we received when the site was down.

Here's hoping that there won't be a next time but it's nice to know you listen to the reasonable requests made by members.
