Cancelling e-mail subscription?

I get the newsletter from this site as I'm sure most here do (well, assuming..). But really, I almost never look at it, and isn't it just the front page anyway?

So I figure I'd cancel it, and I click on "use our one click unsubscribe" at the bottom of the newsletter. But it doesn't unsubscribe me..... it takes me to Barnes & Noble's website. Is there no way out of this, am I just stuck in an endless advertising loop?

that's no mistake.

barnes & noble actually sells a book called 'how to unsubscribe from the DVDTalk newsletter'. you have to purchase the book (only through that link), and then you will get your answer (which, if i remember correctly, is hidden somewhere on page 46).

that's more than odd. The link at the bottom of each newsletter should remove you immediately. Are you sure you've clicked the right link? You can also always go to: http://www.dvdtalk.com/unsub.html

We've got a couple comedians here.

I'm 99% sure I hit the right link. It's actually been two e-mails I've tried that in now. No big deal, I just thought it was odd and post-worthy. I'll try the other way there. Thanks!
