Not to mention that thread in particular is about an active eBay auction.

But I agree with Canadian. Since this forum doesn't have the post preview that other sites do when you put the cursor over a thread title, vague subjects are more annoying here than elsewhere.

The worst ones are the ones that are asking about a release but the title doesn't have a ? in it.

We spend a considerable amount of time fixing thread titles. It's only fair that members have at least a clue what threads are about. And the ones leaving off the question marks are particularly annoying.

Maybe we should just close them up. Perhaps that would get the message across better.

I'm okay with that too, although maybe with some discretion by the mods. I'd give old-timers who make the mistake rarely a free pass occasionally, but play more to the letter of the law with newbies.

(admitting that I just made the "?" mistake recently)
