Blatant spoiler in thread title (NCAA Softball)
Not all websites have rules like this for their forums, but it's especially frustrating when there's a sticky topic in the sports (sub)forum titled:
SPOILERS in Sports Talk ----> Do NOT post game outcomes in thread titles! <----
I reported this when I first noticed it (~24 hours ago), and the thread title hasn't been changed by a mod. Not only that, but the OP was pretty cavalier about violating the spoiler-in-a-thread-title rule. I can't believe that nothing would be done about this if it were a 'bigger' game like the Super Bowl, World Cup, or Game 7 of The World Series.
*Game outcome in thread title thread here*
(Do NOT open if you don't want to know who won the NCAA softball finals.)
GeorgeP did exactly that, he posted the outcome of the game in his thread title. For people who don't even read the sports section, the thread title appears in the main forum view every time it's the current thread in the sports forum.
While I did expect the outcome of the game to be what it was, there's still the excitement of watching it without really knowing. With the amount of people utilizing DVRs for some (if not all) of their television viewing, this should not happen.

Seems like someone planning on watching a DVR'd sporting event would stay out of the sports forum....I avoid the internet like the plague in such cases, much less sports forums.
But I guess it is a rule.

I don't know whether some messages fail to be sent or simply - as happened to me some time ago - occasionally it reverts to a much older address.
