Something wrong with the animated smilies?

All of a sudden when i click on the animated smilies to put in a post, they lost there animation/movement. My sig smilie isn't working either.

Is it this site or my pc? Thanks.

that's so weird. why would my animations be turned off?

Have you tried using a different browser? I don't know what you're running now, but you might download Firefox or some other one, and then just open the site in that browser and see if it works there. If it does, you may just have to reinstall your old browser.

well thanks joe. i dl'd firefox and sure enough the animations work. i re-installed ie6 but it atill doesn't work. i don't really like Firefox and want to use ie6. any more suggestions how i can fix ie? thanks again.

Is the "Play animations in webpages" checked under Tools>InternetOptions>Advanced>Multimedia ?

actually i came across that prior to your post just a little while ago and it wasn't checked. i checked it and everything seems to be working now (of course that was after i dl'd firefox, then removed firefox and had all my previous ie shortcuts removed as well, what a headache, but i dl'd ie6 again and again and the last time is what i think fixed it all, for now that is). thing is i never touched that option before so not sure why it went off all of a sudden. thanks though.
