Why was my thread closed?

Since there are several mods for Otter, I thought I'd ask the simple question here.

Is there a brief reason why my thread was closed?

Sub-question:

Can you put a reason for closing a thread at the tail end when you perform said closing? I've noticed several threads that have no reason given. Sometimes it's apparent, but sometimes it's not.

Thank you.

Maybe it would help if you thought about how much you would like a thread solely dedicated to mocking you?

But...art begs to be mocked.

Just kidding.

My thread wasn't mocking art personally at all. How could I mock someone I don't know? In fact, I don't feel that the thread was intended to mock in the first place. I just took a subject a lot of people had previously weighed in about, and thought it would be interesting to see how inserting new subject matter would make the topic read. Art's initial point was silly, according to 99% of the people who posted in that thread debating with him (art being the other 1%), and anything else you insert into the blanks will probably read just as silly.

Just trying to have a little fun.

Sometimes it seems that's the intent...ala Danol and others of days gone past.

I mean, if someone were to mention X, they'd be like "Ohhhhh..the "spit take" guy!"

...wouldn't you rather be known for dumpster diving or male on male pr0n or your love for Kelly Clarkson?

Did I mention that this is something I can picture my mother scolding me with?
