I like to roll my r's when I say your name, like a Latin lover.

Alright.. I think the joke has gotten to be enough.
I'd like to request either my name be put back the way it was, or change it to my gamertag. Preferably the latter.

I personally miss "Mrs Nesbit" - that little chuckle I got everytime someone posted "I thought you were a woman" whether they knew or not, is now gone forever
Nesbit, you should have thought about the way it made us feel

Any chance my name could be shorted to Josh H. (since I know I couldn't make any major changes given how long I've been around here)?
Like others, I was used to signing up with my real name years ago as other sites required it, and it kind of sucks now since searching my name on google brings up thousands of posts here.

At least according to George Costanza - "It's not a lie of YOU believe it's true."

You could go with joshblast and brentblast.
I think it's reasonable to let them remove their last names. I wouldn't want my username to link easily to the real-life me. I'm sure X agrees.

Any news on whether these changes are permissible?
Thanks!

I'm sure a mod/admin would be willing to help but have not read this thread. Maybe if you email one of them you'd get an answer quicker.
I'm sure they would oblige for the safety of their members. Just email and ask.

Yeah, I had the same thought, I reported the post to send the e-mail last night, but I'll shoot X a direct e-mail to make sure he sees mine and Brent's request.
