Searching for Old Threads

I know this has been addressed before, but I didnt pay attention because it didn't pertain to me then and now it does.

I am just starting to watch the beginning dvd's of some very popular shows and want to look up old threads to see points of views, etc..but I am having trouble doing that.

Can someone tell me how to do it? For instance, I am looking for Season 2 Grey's anatomy.

This should probably go in the Feedback Forum.

Anyway, to search, go to the menu at the top -- the one below the thread title that has User CP as the leftmostg choice. Most of the way to the right, there is an option for search. Use the one with the little arrow next to it. Click on the arrow and a drop down box will appear. Ignore the box and click on Advanced Search. From there, it should be self explanatory.

Clicking on Search in the bar at the top of the forums and using the google search for dvd talk that comes up often works even better than the advanced search.

I pretty much always try it first now.

I find, especially for TV show threads, that it helps to put the name of the show in quotes and check the "search thread titles only" option. It actually seems to find the relevant weekly threads.
