No new post or quote buttons for me

The New Post and Quote buttons seem to have disappeared for me in both Firefox and IE. Any theories as to why this is?

Have you recently installed/upgraded a personal firewall? Depending upon how they are configured you may run into problems, I have occasionally w/ ZoneAlarm.

I do not have buttons for New Thread, New Post, Quote, or Edit

I think the buttons are served up by an ad server.... which my corporation blocks

At work, I can only post using the quick reply window and I cannot edit any typos at all

yep.. it's pretty smart, actually.. prevents people from blocking the ads, since there are other things they need coming from the same server..

one tip for this would be to note (when you're at home) the url/syntax that the 'edit' and 'new reply' buttons use, and just enter those manually if you want to use them while you're at work..

Opera's ad blocker is better than any other I've seen- it allows me to block ads but not the forum buttons. Mwahahahahaha.
