Should Moderators Post In Politics?

I think its very important for mods to participate in forums.

i'm okay with them posting in politics. but i'm less okay with them modding a thread in which they are actively participating in the "debate". i'm sure they try to remain unbiased, but it's just not possible when you feel as strongly about politics as many who post there do. and now with sfsdfd and bfrank not posting at all anytime recently, there's a bit of a skew. not lately because quite frankly, there hasn't been much controversy lately (or the same ones and people are finally getting bored with it).

anyhow, just my $0.02.
