Changing Upcoming Re-Releases thread "ownership"?
Hi.
I've been updating the Upcoming Re-Releases thread (http://forum.dvdtalk.com/showthread....&page=27&pp=25.) for some years now. Unfortunately, now, I've lost interest.
I've asked if someone is willing to take over the updating of the list, and user named Legolas wants the task.
Is there any way to change the ownership of the first post of the thread from me to Legolas or does he have to start a new thread and you will lock the existing one?
Thanks.

I believe a new thread would have to be started...I think if we split it off or merge, it will go by date order and he would not be the first poster..
I'll experiment though and see what I can find..

yeah ..If you give me the okay, I can move your current thread to the archive since I assume you want to save some of the posts, and I'll copy all your information from your first post into his last post and make his last post the first post of a new thread..

Magic!
(Just a couple of database queries. It's easier to do it that way than to try to use the tools in vBulletin.)

Okay, I've taken over and made some updates. I've updated some older releases just in case people didn't know they were already available. After a new version comes out, how long is a good time before I delete it from the list?
