You can't say anything can be done "in theory on your own DVDs but not on ones owned by another company." That's bogus. I asked a question that has many legitimate uses, while the reason I may have wanted to use it was not, and I use this term loosely, "legal". This sham of a forum makes me sad.

If you bothered to read the forum rules before you signed up, you would know that asking that type of question is not allowed. There are plenty of sites that would give you the information you need, but this isn't one of them.

I can't speak for anybody else, but I'd like to step forward and admit for the first time that yes, I suck. Indeed, one might argue that I suck IT.

Imagine if Sony, MGM, etc... are advertisers somewhere. Do you think they're eager to do business with a place that permits talking about ways for them to lose revenue?
