Domain Banned from ImageShack

When did this happen?

Any way to get this straightened out? Or does anyone know some good alternatives?

it was working yesterday It says no porn in their Terms of Service. I'm guessing it's been used in the adult forum.

Edit: Just did some serious research in the adult forum. There were several imageshack links in the animated gif thread. I never actually read their TOS before, I probably posted one or two

Maybe they could reinstate dvdtalk if there was a sticky in the adult forum about not using imageshack for posting pics there. I don't know what other alternatives are out there, but imageshack has been very convenient and reliable.

Yeah, I've noticed this too. Apparently DVDTalk has been blacklisted. ImageShack's website doesn't seem to indicate whether you can be removed from that list or not. I know that http://www.fapomatic.com is a dedicated porn image hosting site, so maybe that should be included in that stickie as well.

There's an entry on "What do I do if my domain is banned" on the imageshack FAQ page.

ImageShack confused me. They changed the way the stuff works. Now you have to click on a thumbnail of your pic on the page to make it the proper size and then right click on that to get the url. I think...

yeah, lately when I've been posting stuff it's been shrinking it to 640x480 even though the pic is actually larger

Looks like it's happening again (at least it did in one thread in Other today). Isolated incident?

Nick Danger had posted a photo which appeared as a thumbnail. When you clicked it, it went to an Imageshack page that said "This domain has been barred from hotlinking" or something like that. He deleted his post, and I deleted my comment, though you can still see the remnant of the discussion in post #250.

Ah .. It might have been too much traffic looking at that picture ...Sometimes they'll disable the picture for a while if too many people look at it ..but it appears to be okay now..
