Thanks, Mods!

Our mods don't get thanked often enough for all the hard work they do.

RandyC helped me change my user name, even though technically I was long past the point where name changes are allowed. Thanks, Randy!

Recently, in one of the few serious threads in Otter, someone posted a couple of tasteless jokes at the expense of the posters who were putting some pretty emotional stuff out in public. (I'm being vague because it's water under the bridge, and I don't want to single out the poster). Venusian took the offensive posts down and scolded the poster. Thanks, Venusian!

What have the mods done for you?

I had a good reason for a name change -- my user name used to be Jason and then my last name (which starts with an F, of course). I decided I didn't want that much identifying information about me on the message board, so I changed it. I doubt the mods would approve of continually changing names, or changing names for no good reason.

Now that there's a guy named Harpo posting in Otter, I kind of wish my user name was Chico.

I would like to thank the mods for making a person with special needs like Bandoman part of the DVDTalk family. He is posting at a fifth grade level!

Yeah, sometimes I think I'd like to do that. It's all HTF's fault that I used my name.
