Do I really need the sound of breaking glass everytime I log into dvdtalk? I had my speakers up, and jumped a mile when those ads went off. For the umpteenth million time: ADS WITH NOISES SUCK!

I agree. Ads AREN'T Supposed to have sound on load, and for some reason we got provided with creative that does that. I've replaced it with a non flash version which doesn't make a racket when the page loads.

Lemmie know if you have any other problems with sound ads on the site.

I was on the Easter Egg main page, and I got the Butterfly Effect ad *with* sound. Scared the crap out of me...

I also just got the ad with sound on the entry page for the Awful Truth drawing.
