How do you get buttons to show up using Firefox?

I am using Firefox and the radio buttons for "Post a new thread", "Post a reply". "Go to new post", etc do not show up.They only show up as regular hyperlink words. How do I fix this? Using Windows 98SE FYI.

You're probably blocking ads.kleinman.com, where those images are hosted.

What happens if you try to access http://ads.kleinman.com/images/newthread.gif directly?

I tried adding ads.kleinman.com to the list in my Firefox "allow sites" box but that didn't work.

It says Was unable to connect to ads.kleinman.com or something like that.

By default, Firefox won't block those sites. Do you have any sort of "internet security" suites or pop-up blockers installed?

I have "AdsGone" installed but A)I completely disabled it...it wasn't even running in the background and B)It only pertains to IE. Why did it affect Mozilla?

Anyway I changed some settings in AdsGone and added the "ads.kleinman.com" site to the list of sites not to block. I can see the radio buttons now so everything is cool. But still, that's just wierd. Any thoughts?

sounds like that program might also mess with the hosts file if it wasn't running but was still causing the ads server to get blocked.
moving the forum icons to the ad server was pretty sneaky. I remember back in the day when they were on the regular server
