Can someone explain to me why my post: AUDIO COMMENTARIES: DOES ANYONE CARE? was removed?

Never mind. I discovered it was merged with another post. You should send a form E mail when this happens.

If you get a form E-mail from DVDTalk, you're either suspended, banned or if all the planets are aligned you might have actually won one of DVDTalk's contest!

If we sent an e-mail to every person who started a thread that was merged, moved, or edited, it would double our workload. Searching for your post, as you did, seems to work fine.

I think he meant a "form e-Mail," implying that it would be automatically generated on a moderator action, not unlike getting an email when someone replies to a subscribed thread.

Yes, that's what I meant, a form E mail, not a personal one. I'm pretty new to these boards and didn't know about merging; I couldn't figure out what reason there could have been for my post being removed.

I understand why my post was merged with an already established one about the same subject, but I'm disappointed that it's so buried there. It was, I feel, my best post yet and I was anxious to see what reactions it might generate. Where it is now, few people will even see it, let alone respond to it.
